We champion writers and directors with bold, creative voices and a fearless approach to storytelling.

Everybody Gets One ~
Delighted to be on board Tinola. This stunning project, written and directed by dynamic duo - Ken Abalos and Arash Meshkati will be going into production later this year. (Previous work includes current festival favourite Easy Sell)
Our award-winning, BIFA-qualifying short film Dressed to the Nines, starring Daniel Ings & Reggie Absolom is currently screening internationally on the festival circuit - In October, it was programmed at the amazing SCAD SAVANNAH FILM FESTIVAL, the FEMALE EYE FILM FESTIVAL in Toronto, the TUCSON FILM FESTIVAL in Arizona and the CHELSEA FILM FESTIVAL in NY. In November it screened at the INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL GLASGOW and the EARL'S COURT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. In February, DTTN screened in competition at the wonderful NORTHAMPTON FILM FESTIVAL and won BEST NARRATIVE FICTION SHORT! In March our team travelled to The Netherlands for the incredible ROZE FILMDAGEN AMSTERDAM LGBTQ+ FESTIVAL. In April Dressed to the Nines screened on the same day at two more film festivals, OXFORD Shorts and OFN. We just screened at the excellent BIFA-qualifying UNRESTRICTED VIEW FILM FESTIVAL, as well as the amazing LOWER EAST SIDE FILM FESTIVAL in NYC! Coming up, we are super excited to have our Italian premiere at the inaugural GENOA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, followed by a screening at the KINGSTON INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL with more being announced in the coming weeks.

WHO WE ARE
Yasmin Rais is an independent film producer, born in Iran and based in London. She co-produced Shot in the Dark, Adrian Grenier’s feature documentary which premiered at Tribeca, and was picked up by HBO. She’s since produced a number of shorts: When the Rain Comes starring Dervla Kirwan & Holly Gibbs, written and directed by Jade Bell; The Ring Cycle starring Natalie Dormer & Emun Elliott, written and directed by Erin Cramer and most recently Dressed to the Nines starring Daniel Ings & Reggie Absolom - (see below). She co-produced the BIFA long-listed short film What We Wished We Could Be, directed by Luke Shelley. As a script supervisor she worked on numerous film and television productions, including Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror, Stanley Tucci’s Final Portrait, Paul Andrew Williams' Song For Marion, Nick Moran's Telstar and Ruth Jones & James Corden’s Gavin and Stacey.
Yasmin is developing a slate of feature films and tv shows through Dogmother Films and is thrilled to be joining the Jury for the 2026 Healdsburg International Short Film Festival in Sonoma, CA. She is currently taking part in The First Feature Producer Lab run by The Fold and funded by the BFI/ Mission Accomplished with the feature project Dead Dad(s). Yasmin is a member of BAFTA Connect.
